Q:What's your opinion on HJC helmets?

As long as a helmet is both DOT AND Snell rated you’re good to go. After that it’s hard to judge if a helmet will protect you better based on price. Price is more of a factor for the bells and whistles. People pay more for quieter and lighter helmets. Also, features such as quick changing mechanisms for visors or double visors can up the cost. As for HJC, I think they’re a great helmet company. They’ve been around for awhile and have made a name for themselves; when I don’t see people riding around with a Shoei or Arai it’s usually an HJC. Two of their helmets won helmet of the year awards from Webbikeworld.com, a very informative website that rates a LOT of helmets. Funny you should ask this too because I’ve recently been in the market for a new helmet and finally decided on one. Relate-A-Moto’s gonna have a new face… I’ll be writing more about it later in this week, so stay tuned :D
