Q:Was finding work after graduating from college difficult? With the current economy, I'm hearing horror stories about fresh college grads working minimum wage at McDonalds because they can't find proper work.

Anonymous

I didn’t get a job right out of college. It took 3 months until I started my new career. But in the mean time I still had my research job on campus and my internship that was extended throughout the year; both things that required sacrificing free time that I had after school and studying was taken care of. Of course finding a job was difficult, but that’s why you prepare while in college. Start applying for internships like crazy early. Apply for on campus jobs. Do something on top of just going to school; just having a degree doesn’t really cut it nowadays because anyone can get one. It’s your credentials and experience that will PROVE your willingness to work hard, leading to that job offer. Most of my friends spent their college summers traveling, just chillin’, or working retail jobs that didn’t benefit their resume in any way. I did an internship so I didn’t have a true summer vacation. It all goes to what I said before: when you choose to work hard :D

Hey there, this is where I blog about random motorcycle related things. I ride an '07 CBR600RR; you'll see it posted here from time to time. I'm from Seattle. If you are looking for thousands of super cool motorcycle pictures then sorry, I don't really do that massive reblogging stuff. Most of my blog is my own original content though some will be stuff that I do not own; stuff that I find on the internet and claim no rights to. Either that or reblogs of friends of mine. I usually tag "Relate-A-Moto" on my stuff so you'll know.

Anyway, if you like what you see and want to know what goes through the mind of a motorcyclist feel free to follow and join me as I immerse myself in the world of motorcycles. Projects, maintenance, rides, tips, and words of wisdom for aspiring as well as veteran riders: all of it will be documented here. Hope you're able to learn a thing or two during your stay, and as always, enjoy the ride.

To all my followers and anyone that has ever liked or reblogged any of my personal posts... Thanks :D
